The under-pressure manager declared he did not fear the sack, asserting, “I believe we are really close to things turning around,” in the wake of sliding worryingly close to the chopping block with a convincing defeat by Rangers.

Danny Röhl refused to contemplate a championship push even after what appeared to be a landmark win. “One match at a time, so we can develop a challenge,” he said. “The faith in the squad is immense.”
