Devoted supporters of the pop star are demanding that a man who breached a fence and grabbed the celebrity during the recent Wicked: For Good premiere be taken into custody or deported from Singapore.

A viral clip shows the Australian man bypassing media personnel and charging at Grande while the actors made its way down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo quickly pulled the shocked star away from Mr Wen, who was seen being removed of the premiere by guards.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "free after being arrested", though legal records revealed that he was set to be present on Friday morning. It is not clear if he was faced legal action.

Record of Incidents

This is not the first time for Mr Wen, who labels himself a "Controversial Figure", has invaded a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed includes clips of him disrupting other star-studded functions, including jumping on stage at the pop singer's Sydney concert in earlier this year and in a similar way during The Chainsmokers event in the same location last year.

"Measures must be taken enforced against him as this is obviously a punishable act," commented an Instagram user, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his behavior.

"This appears to be a habit... why are you not imprisoned?" another Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Voice Worry Over Ariana's Past Trauma

Many followers blamed Mr Wen for "causing further distress" Grande, who had revealed experiencing post-traumatic stress disorder after a terrorist explosion at the end of her May 2017 performance in Manchester, killing 22 people and injuring numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote another message on Instagram.

Several supporters also faulted security officers at the Thursday event for not being adequately prepared; while different individuals demanded digital services to block Mr Wen's uploads.

Reaction and Event Details

In footage spreading on the internet, Grande appeared shocked when she was approached by the man. Her cast members Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be observed reassuring her while Mr Wen was escorted away by staff.

Grande has not commented on the incident, and the remaining proceedings continued without further issues.
