Iranian Forces State Strike on American Facility in Bahrain, Amid Widespread Military Operations.
Tehran reports attacking a US naval base in Manama, as Iran launched missile attacks across the region in retaliation for a "massive" and ongoing attack targeting the nation by the US and Israel.
Large columns of dark smoke were observed billowing from an area in the area of the headquarters of the US Navy's Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The full scale of any damage is not yet known and the American officials has remained silent.
Missile Defenses Activated
In other parts of the Middle East, the United Arab Emirates, the State of Qatar and Kuwait - which all house US military bases - said they have engaged and destroyed missiles in their air space.
In Doha, the Qatari Ministry of Defence said it had successfully engaged several missiles seemingly aimed at the Al Udeid Air Base, the biggest US military installation in the region.
Operation "Truthful Promise 4"
The Iranian Revolutionary Guard stated it was attacking US bases and assets as part of military campaign "Truthful Promise 4", in reprisal for the attack on Iran initiated by the United States and its ally Israel on Saturday morning.
That initial attack - executed at around 06:15 GMT - has so far targeted sites associated with the Tehran's leadership, with President Trump encouraging the people of Iran to revolt against the leadership.

In the State of Israel, sirens were heard nationwide after the Israel Defense Forces stated it had identified an barrage of missiles from Iran.
The Ministry of Defence of the United Arab Emirates stated that the country has been subjected to a "a blatant attack involving Iranian ballistic missiles".
"Emirati air defenses dealt with the missiles with high efficiency and successfully intercepted a number of missiles," it added.
Officials reported wreckage fell on a populated district in Abu Dhabi, causing some structural damage and killing a civilian.
The United States Air Force operates from Al Dhafra Air Base, to the south of the Emirati capital, along with the UAE Air Force.
