Mohamed Salah Offers Statement to Squad, Discloses Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has disclosed that Salah apologised to the team in the wake of the controversy from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a vital match following making accusations and stating his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has refused to reveal on whether he received a personal apology from the 33-year-old forward.

The player stated that the team's response remained positive. “Nothing about him changed, his demeanour was positive and we all treated him normally,” he continued.
He also suggested that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “I get that there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
