Person of Interest in Ivy League Campus Incident Found Discovered Deceased Inside Self-Storage Unit.

The individual linked to the recent deadly shooting incident at Brown University authorities state took his own life on Thursday evening, according to officials.

His body was discovered at a storage facility on Thursday evening, according to information citing an official source. The same individual is also believed of the murder of a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor at a residence in the Boston area.

“He committed suicide this evening,” stated the head of the Providence police department during a press conference.

The police official identified the deceased man as Claudio Nevis Valenti, a 48-year-old individual enrolled at Brown University.

This news comes after a significant police operation at a storage facility in Salem, New Hampshire earlier on Thursday. Witnesses reported seeing multiple agents in tactical gear converging on the premises.

The manhunt for the perpetrator had restarted on Monday after state prosecutors announced that a person of interest on Sunday had been let go. This development was admitted to be deeply concerning for the local community.

City leadership emphasized that while the release was a setback, the broader investigation was not paused without interruption.

The two students who lost their lives in the shooting have been named by family. They are Ella Cook, a sophomore from Alabama who was served as vice-president for a campus political group, and MukhammadAziz Umurzokov, an international student in his freshman year who aspired to a neurosurgeon.

Authorities are expected to hold a news briefing to deliver additional information on the suspect's death.
